Creativity is a necessity, and that is my starting point as an artist and speaker.  The drive to create and communicate through images is a continual process. Photography is my chosen medium as it can most accurately represent  how I view, experience and interpret the world around me. One drop of rain in a river might not seem so significant, but when magnified, the ripples create the most intricate of circles, each perfect in shape. The play of light and shadow intrigues me. I see trees with eyes, shadows under a bridge that turn into people and shell covered rocks that look like cliffs. Colours jump out at me, forcing me to take notice of the most subtle of details. My self-portraits capture a part of my soul, trapping that moment of emotion in a silent image. An image that enables not only the viewer but myself to travel back to that moment in time, a wonderful yet frightening journey. I have only just scratched the surface of what lies inside of me. My journey has only just begun.
